Securing firesleeve to hoses and cables
Firesleeve clamp accessories aid in securing firesleeve to the hose fittings.
SecurClamp™
Two styles of clamp are available to secure the ends of firesleeve to fittings; Free-end self locking style and Twice-around style.
SecurClamp™ Tools
The ends of clamps can be pulled to tighten the clamp with common tools, or the specially designed clamp tool can be used.
Clamps:
Free end clamps are available in two widths: 0.18" and 0.31". The narrow clamp is rated to 200 lbs tensile and the wider clamp is rated to 325 lbs tensile. These free end clamps are 316 grade stainless steel. Shortest clamp is 8" and longest is 33" (open length). A shorter 6" clamp is available in the 0.18" width.
The twice around clamp is available in 0.250", 0.375", 0.500", 0.625" and 0.750" widths. These clamps are 201 grade stainless steel. Opening size is typically 1" through 4" - with some widths having larger openings.
Clamp Tools:
Two clamp tools are available - a simple nose tool that includes a winder and cutter. An upgraded tool is available which has a ratcheting jaw to tighten the clamp and also a cutter.
