Description

Firesleeve has a limitation in that it must be slid over the hose or cable it is protecting. This may be a problem if the hose or cable is already installed and cannot be removed from the machine or equipment. A solution to this problem is a Firesleeve with Metal snap closure manufactured into the sleeve. This allows the firesleeve to be installed on hoses, cables or lines without disassembly.

SnapSleeve™ - Firesleeve with Metal Snap Closure provides molten splash & weld splatter protection to wires, cables, hoses, tubes and pipes against heat, flame and pyro exposure.

Firesleeve with Metal Closure can endure the most demanding of liquid metal splash and heavy weld splatter, and may be more suitable than a hook and loop closure for some applications. This sleeve also provides energy savings and personal protection.

Snaps are typically installed at 4 or 6 inch spacing along the sleeve. Additional snaps may easily be field installed to allow for unique bends or extra closure protection.

This SnapSleeve™ with metal snap closure can withstand temperatures of up to 500°F / 260°C continuous exposure; 2200°F / 1205°C for periods up to 15 minutes and short excursions to 3000°F / 1650°C. Resists Weld Spatter/Splatter, molten metal splash and sparks.

This firesleeve is available in oxide-red or black.
