Welcome! Thank You for visiting our site - we appreciate your business.  Orders completed by 2PM are usually shipped same day. Fabricated items such as Firesleeve with closures may take a few days to complete.  Shipments originate from NY (13669) and we have daily UPS, Fedex and USPS service.

Please Note: Our shipping department checks all orders; if we notice an error in the rate calculation in the shipping charge you will be credited for any overcharge. Automatic shipping calculations are accurate for firesleeve lengths of 25, 50 and 100 feet - for any other random length the calculation will be high as its using the 1 foot length weight/dimension as a baseline. We will verify the shipping charge and adjust it if it's incorrect.

End Seal Dip Liquid Silicone Rubber Oxide-Red or Black

AFS-ESD
In stock

FlameShield™ End Seal Dip is a special formulation of high temperature silicone rubber used to seal the exposed ends of firesleeve. Sealing the end of the firesleeve prevents it from absorbing or wicking liquids such as fuel, oil and water, and also prevents dust and dirt from entering the finished hose or cable assembly.

The end seal dip becomes tack free in 60 to 90 minutes and cures fully in 16 to 24 hours. Cure can be accelerated by increasing relative humidity and also adding some heat from a heat gun or hairdryer.

The material can withstand temperatures of up to 500°F / 260°C continuous rating once cured.

Available in oxide-red or black.
