Firesleeve End Wrap Tape is a special formulation silicone tape that has no adhesive, but which when over-wrapped onto itself self-fuses and self binds (amalgamating).
This tape is the perfect finish to protecting the ends of firesleeve installed on hoses, cables or wires. It prevents the firesleeve from wicking liquids or becoming contaminated with dirt or grime.
Firesleeve End Wrap Tape can also be used to secure Firesleeve Tape into position at the ends and at intervals along the wrap.
This tape is available in oxide-red and black colors. Both have a center guideline stripe to aid in spiral wrapping. The tape is produced onto a mylar backing film and in packaged in a plastic bag. Store cool and dry for maximum shelf life.
