Welcome! Thank You for visiting our site - we appreciate your business.  Orders completed by 2PM are usually shipped same day. Fabricated items such as Firesleeve with closures may take a few days to complete.  Shipments originate from NY (13669) and we have daily UPS, Fedex and USPS service.

Please Note: Our shipping department checks all orders; if we notice an error in the rate calculation in the shipping charge you will be credited for any overcharge. Automatic shipping calculations are accurate for firesleeve lengths of 25, 50 and 100 feet - for any other random length the calculation will be high as its using the 1 foot length weight/dimension as a baseline. Firesleeve Free-end and Twice around clamp tools

AFST-CT
In stock

These firesleeve clamp tools are used to tighten both styles: free-end clamps and twice-around clamps.  One is a basic tool that incorporates a winder and a cutter. Additional hand tools may aid in securing the clamp along with this tool.  A small handheld grinder or cut-off wheel may also be useful to remove as much of the remaining "tail" from the clamp after tightening, and also to round out the sharp edge of the remaining tail.

The tool requires a minimum of 4.5" of free end of the clamp for the winder to be properly loaded. When calculating the length of the clamp required to secure the firesleeve, add this extra length requirement to the clamp circumference length.

The other available tool is self ratcheting and works well with the free-end clamps.
